Heidsieck & Co Monopole Champagne is a Champagne house located in Epernay in the Champagne region of France and is one of Champagne’s oldest and most respected Champagne houses. Established in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck in Epernay, Heidsieck & Co. Monopole was one of the original “Grande Marques” of Champagne. Heidsieck & Co. Monopole is still recognised as one of the most respected and best-known houses in Champagne and as one of the largest Champagne marques in the UK. Heidsieck & Co Monopole range includes Blue Top NV the primary house champagne, Blue Top Premiers Crus NV, Extra Dry NV and Gold Top Millesime Vintage Champagne.

Tasting notes

This is a deliciously crisp wine with white fruits and a creamy mousse. It is soft from the relatively high dosage, giving a lightly tangy character and finishing with ripe acidity. Apart from being particularly good as an aperitif, it can also be served with shellfish and Asian cuisine.
