Description

Typicity is of great importance for this wine. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the lesser-known yet well placed vineyards of the southern Côte-d'Or, harmoniously united with small parcels of superior Santenay or Auxey-Duresses grapes. This gives an overall result startlingly reminiscent of a fine Côte de Beaune wine.

Estate

The Latour family founded the ‘Maison de négoce’, an important shipping company, in 1797, and it is still based at 18 Rue des Tonneliers in Beaune to this day. The company is unique in Burgundy in that it is still family-owned and family-run, having been passed down from father to son for ten generations over 200 years. Tasting notes

The Bourgogne Pinot Noir Cuvée Latour has a dark ruby color with profound aromas of ripe black fruits. A full mouthfeel with an elegant tannin structure brings with it spicy and black-currant driven flavors.
