Reviews
James Suckling 92-93
A subtly fruity wine with plum and currant character and hints of dried flowers. Medium body, velvety tannins and an attractive finish.
by JS, James Suckling , 2019
Wine Advocate 90-92
The 2018 Les Fiefs de Lagrange is deep garnet-purple colored with earthy, mushroomy notions and savory meats over a cassis and plums core plus herbs hints. The full-bodied palate is rich and packed with fruit, with firm, grainy tannins and a long finish.
by LP, Wine Advocate , 2019
Wine Spectator 90
Nicely focused, with a racy beam of cassis and dark plum fruit laced with violet and anise hints. Sleek finish has a tinge of singed wood at the very end. Approachable now. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2028.

Vintage
In 2018 the total rainfall was above the average of the last two decades, mainly due to the heavy rainfall
in the first half of the year. The average temperatures were also among the highest ever recorded by our
weather station. The summer was, however, one of the driest recorded at Lagrange since 1996. The hot, dry
weather continued through September and October for harvest time.
