The 2022 La Chapelle de Haut-Bages Liberal is a gorgeous second wine. Dark red-toned fruit, rose petal, blood orange, mint and dried herbs are all finely knit. Supple and juicy, with plenty of complicating savoriness, La Chapelle is impressive. Elevage is 60% French oak (10% new) and 40% cement.
