Reviews
Wine Enthusiast 93
This is the latest release from this family-run estate in Margaux. A rich wine, it's still shot through with acidity and fresh black currant fruits. The wine is just setting out on its development.

James Suckling 91
Currants, black raspberries, licorice and dried earth on the nose. Tight and chewy with a medium body, firm tannins and plenty of energy.

Chateau Mongravey is "amongst the most elegant Margaux wines"... It is not surprising that the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois has awarded Chateau Mongravey the title of "Cru Bourgeois" as of the 2003 vintage. Since 1980, Chateau Mongravey's destiny has been in the hands of RĂ©gis Bernaleau who designed and built the remarkable cellar. Through his hard work, he has been able to pass on his passion while ensuring that this exceptional cru always shines with prestige and elegance.
Tasting notes
Intense deep purple robe. Seductive and intense nose of cassis, raspberries, spices, vanilla and unctuous grilled and toasty aromas. Well-structured wine that is at the same time rich and lush in the mouth with smooth tannins and a very long finish.
