Tasting notes
Deep, ruby-red or crimson colour so intense the wine is almost opaque. Ripe, black-berry fruit bouquet, with hints of cedar and empyreumatic
overtones. The overall impression on the palate is very powerful and full-bodied, with remarkable mineral overtones and a long, tight aftertaste, making this 2012 Château Arnauld one of the most successful vintages from this estate.

Final Blend

Presentation
In the Medoc, upon the plateau of Arcins, between Margaux and Moulis, lying upon one of the finest Gunzian gravel hillcrests on the banks of the Gironde estuary, a place which has firmly established the renown of neighbouring estates, Châteaux Chasse Spleen and Poujeaux, we chose to conscientiously breathe new life into an exceptional wine and an outstanding terroir.
That Vintage
A very wet year, except from mid-July to mid-September. Strong, but perfectly controlled, threat of Botrytis. Healthy grapes with good colour and tannins and less acidity than in the 2011 and 2010 vintages.
