Wine Enthusiast 92
A ripe, juicy wine with fine tannins, this is developing well. Promise lies in the juicy black fruits allied to acidity and just the right amount of wood aging.

Technical Details
Estate
Trapped in a peninsular to the north of Bordeaux, the
Medoc appellation stands apart from the rest. Hugging the
Gironde for more than 80 km, the region has hugely varied
landscapes and soils.
This heterogeneous terrain makes up the richness of the
Medoc where each property has its own distinct characteristics,
giving the wine-lover an infinite range of pleasures
visually, aromatically and gustatorally.
Peter and Paulette Sallette purchased the property in the
1960s where usually it was made breeding, sale of milk and
farming of cereals.
Their son Jose Sallette with his wife Lucette follow up the
processing of the estate in 1988 and began planting vine to
achieve today to 25 ha and 30 hectares of cereals.
Today, their son Romain, the 3rd generation, collaborates
with his parents.
Food pairing
It is best to open this bottle at least an hour before serving,
for example, with Bordeaux steak, at around 16C.
Tasting notes
With a beautiful deep and dark garnet color dress,
this wine impresses with its pleasant and distinguished
bouquet, which combines black fruits, spices and melted
wood (vanilla, chocolate, liquorice). The palate is round,
full-bodied, of great density, with firm and fine tannins.
