Another solid Margaux with richness and depth. Full body, velvety tannins and a long and flavorful finish. All there.

The 2015 La Tour de Mons has a very perfumed bouquet with violet infused red fruit, more blueberry emerging with aeration. There is still some oak to be assimilated but it is in sync with the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannin, fresh and focused. A precise and quite mineral-driven finish lingers long in the mouth.

From vines in the northern part of the Margaux, this wine has some of the attractive perfumed quality of the appellation layered on a powerfully dark, structured character. Rich both in fruit and tannins this ripe wine will need time to develop.

Singed alder and juniper notes form a slightly dusty but alluring perfumed frame around a core of gently mulled plum and blackberry fruit. Shows a light lilac accent on the finish, with the fruit lingering steadily.
