This has aromas of blueberries, currants, pine cones, oyster shells and nutmeg. It’s medium-bodied with firm, tightly wound tannins. Tight, mineral finish. Fresh.

The 2019 Grand Corbin has a flattering bouquet with perfumed black cherry and cassis fruit. The oak nicely integrated with a pastille-like quality that I personally find endearing. The palate is medium-bodied with strict tannins. This is a very linear Saint-Emilion with fresh acidity and an almost Left Bank like reserve towards the finish...and I love it for that. Excellent.

Surprisingly soft tannins are already integrated into the generous black fruits and ripe texture of this full-bodied wine. Its richness along with the black currant flavors are balance by the juicy acidity that cuts through into the finish.
