Sweet, warm, graceful, expressive. This small zone's harmony and rightness is evident in this wine's aroma: calm, soft, nourishing, teasing and easeful. This is pure, smooth, singing and lyrical: lovely plum and bramble fruits, weighed down with gorgeous Merlot tannins. Spot-on and delicious.

I am pleasantly surprised to find the 2015 Fugue de Nenin in such great shape. Juicy and inviting, with no hard edges and terrific presence, the Fuque de Nenin is everything a second wine should be. Drink this forward Pomerol over the next handful of years, while the red berry fruit retains its youthful freshness.
