Black cherry, plum, violet, cedar and spice. Crushed stone, too. A complex and profound nose. Full-bodied with firm tannins and a savory, inky feel in the palate. Long, salivating finale. Such polish to this. Second wine of Le Gay.

The deep purple-black colored 2018 Manoir de Gay reveals plum preserves, fruitcake and dark chocolate scents with touches of dusty soil, tobacco and woodsmoke. Full-bodied and jam-packed with baked berries and plush tannins, it has a lovely spark of freshness on the finish.
