From one of the properties owned by the Milhade family, this wine is dominated by dark Merlot and rich tannins. It is dry, with some bitterness from extraction, while also having plenty of juicy blackberry fruits to balance.

Chateau Lyonnat, Lussac Saint-Emilion AOC is Produced with selected parcels of vines That Are over 20 years old, with strict sorting at harvest.

Tasting notes

Color: Deep ruby color.
Nose: Spice cake, licorice and red fruit.
Palate: Smooth and powerful, with very elegant blended tannins.

Vinification

The wine is vinified in traditional temperature-controlled cement tanks and aged in oak barrels of:
1/3 new barrels.
1/3 barrels of one year.
1/3 barrels of two years.
