Reviews

James Suckling 93

The chocolate, meat and dark-berry character is impressive to this wine. Full body, round and soft tannins and a flavorful, clove-spiced finish. Just strength with balance.

by JS, James Suckling , 2018

Wine Advocate 90+

Medium garnet-purple in color, the 2015 La Fleur de Bouard has a perfumed nose of violets and roses with a core of baked cherries, warm black raspberries, plums and spice box. The medium to full-bodied palate is soft and packed with fruit, finishing with an herbal lift.

by LPB, Wine Advocate , 2018

Wine Enthusiast 92

This is a light, fragrant wine. Its tannins are well balanced with bright acidity and lively black currant fruits. The acidity is infectious, crisp and welcome.

by RV, Wine Enthusiast , 2016

Wine Spectator 90

Fleshy in feel, with plum sauce and steeped cherry notes gliding along, inlaid with singed cedar and sandalwood details. Light tea and mineral accents show on the finish.

by JM, Wine Spectator , 2018
