Description
For a long time the wines of Castillon were only used as complementary alternatives to enhance Saint-Emilion blendings. Today Cotes de Castillon's winegrowers are proud to offer visitors a taste of their rich, fruity wines. Château Haut Tuquet is a perfect example in style: full bodied with rich
plummy flavors and much personality.
History
Winemakers from father to son since 1866, the family wine estate is run by the fourth generation. Located in the east of St.Emilion and south of Fronsac, Cotes de Castillon is perhaps the best known and most consitent of the satellite appellations.
