Delicate and pure nose with peach, mandarin and white flowers. Even some chalky mineral notes and orange blossom. This pretty dessert wine is medium sweet with a charming texture and fruit on the palate. Nicely balanced with a silky finish.

Very textured, this is a complex wine. There is a strong sense of minerality here, along with flavors of ripe apricots, peaches and grapes. The texture is zesty and tangy, showing some taut, nervy acidity.

A very ripe and broad style, with intense pineapple, passion fruit and mango notes, featuring a broad finish that takes on a toasted almond frame and a light accent of spiced nutmeg. For fans of the bigger style. Best from 2015 through 2030.

The 2010 Doisy-Vedrines has a slight adhesive scent on the nose that obscures the fruit profile. Despite rigorous aeration it does dissipate. The palate is clean and pure on the entry. This has a fine bead of acidity with moderate depth, quite harmonious from start to finish with a twist of orange rind towards the finish. It’s just the nose that needs to address its issues.
