There's a real purity of fruit and focus here with sliced dried-pineapple, peach and apricot aromas and flavors, very impressive and clear with a medium sweetness and light spiciness at the end. Some licorice and pie crust to the wonderful fruit as well. Drinkable but so much better in five or six years.

The 2022 Guiraud has a powerful bouquet with yellow plum, jasmine, saffron and light waxy aromas that unfold in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with wonderful purity and hints of saffron-infused yellow fruit, orange pith and nectarine toward the caressing, marzipan-tinged finish. This is lovely!

The 2022 Chateau Guiraud offers up aromas of spices, flowers and spring blossoms, followed by a moderately weighted palate with a juicy core of fruit, freshness and a bitter finish. This blend of 65% Semillon and 35% Sauvignon Blanc, matured for 18 months in barrels, lacks depth and vibrancy for a Chateau Guiraud. To be re-reviewed in one to two years. This has 134 grams per liter of residual sugar.

Juicy and fresh, with a mix of delightfully ripe peach and yellow apple fruit that plays nicely with honeysuckle, ginger and jasmine through the finish. Exotic in bent, with lovely energy. Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
