Plums and fresh flowers, such as roses on the nose with some stems and parsley. Full-bodied with round, polished tannins that are medium in stature but long and caressing, giving nice tension to the wine on the palate. 55% cabernet sauvignon, 40% merlot and 5% petit verdot.

The 2019 L'Esprit de Chevalier has a lovely bouquet of blackberry, briar and hints of iodine and pressed iris flowers. The harmonious palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and just a little chewiness toward the finish that softens even in the glass. Lovely. Classic in style.
