This classic expression delivers wonderful aromas of blackcurrant and black fruit that led to flavors of tobacco, baking spice, cherry, and plush red fruit. Nicely layered with perfect balance between acidity and tannins. This wine is very food friendly and goes well with poultry, beef, or pork dishes. Chateau Butte de Charlemagne is located on the banks of the Dordogne River. This vintage of Bordeaux Rouge is comprised of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon & 5% Cabernet Franc
