Food matches
Ideal for grilled meats, strong cheeses, prosciutto and pasta with spicy red sauce.
Tasting notes
Color: Deep and bright red colors with strong violet tinges, characteristic of this variety and of
a wine with oak aging.
Nose: Spicy aroma can be appreciated of red fruits such as gooseberries, raspberries and red berries. Also outstanding aroma of vanilla, chocolate and coffee provided by the twelve month aging in French oak barrels.
Palate: Intense in mouth with balanced sweet and sour tannins. Complex and elegant with a long finish. The overall balance of the wine is manifested in its retro taste.
