Everything you want from a rose and a little bit more, this is a beautifully packaged, directpressed cuvee of Malbec and 40% Pinot Noir, with a pale pink hue, subtle rose petal and wet stone aromas, vivid watermelon, pomegranate and wild strawberry flavours and mouthwatering zip and energy. The sort of thing that was made for the beaches of Punta del Este.

Susana’s winemaking approach is to seamlessly apply her human touch and enhance (not mask) the grape’s character, preserving all elements of terroir.

Tasting notes

A lovely pale salmon pink color and a fine florality, with hints of wild strawberry and cherry. It shows freshness and clarity, with crunchy acidity, redcurrant and strawberry flavors and a pithy, refreshing finish. This will be very good both as an aperitif and with food, due to the tension on the palate. This wine pairs beautifully with smoked salmon, Asian spicy food, grilled poultry & hard cheeses.

Vinification

The vineyards for this wine were hand-harvested and located at an elevation of 4,000 feet. The grapes were lightly pressed and cold macerated with dry ice for 1 hour. Fermented during 25 days at 12°C. Produced and aged in stainless steel tanks.
