Inca - Pinot Noir 2013
Tasting notes
A very distinctive and immediately enjoyable Pinot Noir, this is a very juicy, raspberryish, cherryish wine with hints of strawberry and oak and a refreshing note of pepper.
Vineyard notes
Low vertical trellised vines and a minimum of 15-year-old of age were selected. We try to select vineyards with gravel alluvial deposit. Yields are limited to 10t/hectare
Food pairing
Great by itself or to accompany all a wide range of meat dishes, but could also be enjoyed with fish such as tuna or salmon.
Serving note: Would be good slightly chilled, especially in warm weather

Winemaking notes
The grapes were cold macerated then warm fermented. Once pressed the 20% of this wine underwent malo-lactic fermentation on wood staves. The wine was racked after six months of lees contact. During this period, 30% of the wine was aged for 3 months with French oak staves. Soft fining was carried out prior to bottling.
