Primary, fruity nose full of bramble berries, gooseberries, red cherries and potpourri. Simple and direct, with smooth, round tannins and a bold, fruit-driven finish. A very approachable expression from Ribera del Duero that's made from organically grown grapes.

Estate

Bodegas Emilio Moro is one of the oldest leading quality producers in Ribera del Duero. For four generations the Emilio Moro family has carefully farmed their 500 acres of estate vineyards located between 2,400 to 3,000 feet of elevation. The estates legendary Finca Resalso vineyard was planted the year Emilio Moro was born in 1932. The vineyards deep, cool soil is home to some of the winery’s oldest Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) bush vines and is the birthplace of their great single-estate wine Malleolus de Valderramiro. With excellent ripening conditions, these special plots provide tannic wines with a marked acidity and are ideal for ageing.
