Grapes varieties: 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.
Cultivation: Vineyard thinning. Early pest management.
Harvest: 100% manual on sorting table.

Tasting notes

The vintage from Haut-Medoc appellation displays a dark-red, almost purple colour: a sign of perfected maturation. The 2009 Chateau Peyrabon reveals currant and raspberry notes. Roundness and strength create a real impression of volume on the palate that lead to long, firm, yet very tasty tannins.

Vinification

Concrete and steel thermoregulated vats.
Ageing: Traditional in barrels for 14 months 25% of which are new.
